Our office assists individuals applying for naturalization as a United States citizen. Individuals may apply for naturalization five years after the date of obtaining permanent resident status. This period is reduced to three years if you are married to a United States citizen. In addition, you must be physically present in the United States for at least half that time, with no breaks in continuity of residence.
